Wisconsin Pride Too Much?

Wisconsin pride in the 2010 and 2011 football season has been overexerted. Wisconsin has highlighted football as major season this fall. Wisconsin fans have turned popular songs into anthems for their football athletic season. Songs like "Teach Me How to Bucky" and "So Fly Like a Cheesehead" have flooded our radios, social media, and dance clubs. Wisconsin allowing the youth to believe plagerising popular music to fit personal beliefs is ok. Allowing people to exploite the songs discredits the original artist, and takes already overplayed songs to be overplayed again.
Wisconsin sure has pride, but when does it go too far? What about other sports? Why is it just football? There is even talk that Govenor Walker will allow the capitol dome be lit in green and gold in celebration of the Superbowl. The only other special lights have been pink for breast cancer and mustard yellow for Bratfest. From radio to the capitol Wisconsin pride travels wide through this 2010-2011 season.
